Nestled in serene hills of Himachal Pradesh
Tethys Himalaya began with a simple yet powerful vision: to create authentic experiences that connect people to nature. When Mr. Sanjeev Dogra first started Tethys Himalaya in Narkanda, there was no resort, no luxury—just a few tents set up in the untouched mountain-scape. Despite having a home in Narkanda, Mr. Dogra chose to live in these tents, keeping himself fully involved in the experience he wished to offer to others. His journey began as a tour guide, leading visitors on offbeat trips to places like Spiti and Rohtang, places that captured the raw beauty of the Himalayas.
From these humble beginnings, Tethys Himalaya gradually transformed into a brand that redefined offbeat travel in the region. With a focus on curated itineraries and deep cultural experiences, it became known for its unique adventures in lesser-known destinations. Soon, Tethys Himalaya grew beyond providing guided trips and established itself as a sustainable hospitality brand, standing tall with two resorts—one in Narkanda and another in Kasauli.
